Delve - The Setting

Centuries ago, humanity arrived upon the continent of Bountia seeking refuge from a shattered world.

Since then, kingdoms have risen and fallen, empires have flourished, and ancient rivalries have shaped the course of history. Great rulers guide their nations towards prosperity, faith, knowledge, conquest or survival, whilst elves and dwarves pursue their own timeless paths beneath the watchful gaze of gods both benevolent and terrible.

From the frozen settlements of Johon Dáil to the deserts of the Shandar Nomads, from the scholarly halls of the Abssinan Union to the tyranny of Emperor Rahmet Belghol, Bountia is a land of competing ideals, uneasy alliances and enduring legends.

Yet beyond the politics of kings and councils lie deeper mysteries. The impossible emptiness of the Void, the blood-soaked Picaroon Archipelago, and the forbidden shores of Dragon’s Landing stand as reminders that not all questions have answers.
